Planning - Best websites for keeping you sane
The process of planning a wedding can be overwhelming. Not only are you tasked with planning the wedding of your dreams, but you should also enjoy the process and be present throughtout … afterall, weddings traditionally occur once in your life.
To help you with the process, this site hopes to provide you with informative information, fun tips, tips for saving money and the environment.
Here are some great links to get you started:
- The Knot - www.theknot.com: This is a great site to keep all your wedding desires. You can upload and manage your guest lists, gift records, thank you lists, and plan your seating all on one site. This is a great site for families who are spread across different locations. Simply give your parents your login information and they can add Aunt Trudy’s address to your address book for you.
- Martha Stewart Weddings - www.marthastewart.com/weddings: This is such a thourough site for images. It is a great place to find the simple things to incorporate into your wedding. Martha Stewart does such a great job at simplifying colors, and shows how sometimes the more simple, the better.
- The Wedding Channel - www.weddingchannel.com: One of my favorite elements in this site is the ability to choose a color, and look through real weddings. It helps give you a ‘real look’ at the color schemes you thought you would want. It helps to see it all come together.
This is enough for now. We will write daily re: some great tips for the brides as we move through wedding season. Congratulations! And Remember to have fun!!!
